sweet hubby of mine

Yes, he has gone and done it again. He is very good at being sweet. Okay, I helped a little by planting the seed in his head, but then it was all him. I'm about to be done with my job at the mall and worked my last day on Saturday. I'm "on call" tomorrow but doubt that I'll be working. With that, my discount is also done. Buu. So before I went to work on Saturday I sent my hubby a link to a few items that I'd love to have from the store. I told him if he could find nothing to do while I was at work, he could go to our other store location and spend some money on me. When I came home that evening our room was literally filled with stuff from the store. The things I wanted, but also a bunch of other stuff. I told you, he can be very very sweet. Some of it went back but overall he did great. I forgot my camera at home, so I can't take pictures of it. It'll have to be done another time.

Other than that, nothing exciting is happening. I work a lot still. And since we're over here across town dog sitting I can't be creative either.

I was looking for inspiration on baby rooms online for my friend and her daughter and found this picture and absolutely LOVE it. So I thought I'd share it with everyone. So sweet.

work work work

I'm doing absolutely nothing but working this weekend. Working right now, but I brought my computer so I can surf the web while the baby is a sleep. I'm so hoping that they will call from the mall saying I don't have to come in tonight. But probably not. We're dog sitting this week as well for a family, when they are on a sail boat living life somewhere on the waters close to the British Virgin Islands.. Not jealous at all. So after work we have to go across town and take the dog out and spend the week there. He is a cutie so it should be okay.

It's raining here today and I'm missing the nice weather. Tomorrow I'm going to try and make it over to the garden and tend to it. I'm working a few hours tomorrow as well. Boring boring boring, but money money money money. :)

Swedish lessons on the fridge

My hubby came home from Houston safe and sound and somehow he found some magnetic letters and words in Swedish somewhere so now we're having Swedish lessons on the fridge. We put them up yesterday and I'm trying to teach him the most important phrases first...

Today is another day with tons of work. I'm about to head of to babysit and then I'm working late at the mall.

A visit to the garden

A beautiful day here in the Atl and I just came home from the garden. I put some herbs down in pots; Parsley and Chives. Our onion is growing like crazy! I'm sooo excited! No carrots in sight still, maybe in a week or so. I'm going to sit down and read some in my gardening book today and see what out next move should be. I brought my camera but forgot to take pictures.

Other than that, not too much fun to blog about. I'm working a lot. Every day now for a few days so there's not much time for me to create. So I guess ya'll are going to have to read about my boring life instead. :)

busy day

Yes, I'm just home for a little bit and then I have to hurry to work between 3:30 and 8:30. I worked at the mall this morning from 8-12, so it's going to be a busy day. But some days I really like that. But it means no crafting done today. I have something in mind that I want to get started with. :)

Since my future sister-in-law just started reading my blog, I'm going to be mean and show her what I had for lunch today. Jealous?

New pillow!

Yes, I just finished my latest pillow. It turned out pretty good. It looks cute in our armchair.

It is strange how much you can love someone. And how much someone can comfort just by being there on the phone or just knowing that the person you love is thinking of you. I'm of course talking about my husband. He is all the way over in Texas but he still knows how to comfort me when lightning and thunder comes to town. Yes, the weather outside my window is not my favorite. At 5 it turned black outside and the wind picked up and lightning and thunder could be seen and heard. There were also tornado warnings, but I think we're safe now.
