A Story About A Christmas Tree

We always get a hot apple cider at Starbucks before we go out in the cold weather (sometimes it's not so cold, but yesterday it actually was!) to pick our Christmas tree.
Maybe this one??

Or this??

Nope, this one is the ONE!

There is is, in our living room.
So many lights!

to be continued...

Gender Reveal Party

So the gender reveal party came and went. It was a success! And the gender was revealed, it is a boy!! It was a really fun party and I truly recommend having one if you're planning on finding out the gender of your baby. It is just fun to do it with family and friends and celebrate the baby. So instead of writing about it, I'm going to share some pictures!

Me and Christian made the chalk board where a tally was going on. There were a few photos of the baby in the belly next to the chalk board so you could take a closer look before casting the final vote.

Courtney (the mom to be) had made this very cute "Boy or Girl" sign.

After you tallied down whether you though it was going to be a boy or a girl you got to pick one of these tokens and each one of them had a number on the back and there was a raffle in the end

This was the cravings-station. The pom pom's were made by me!

The salty station.

The crunchy station.

The creamy station.

And the sweet station.

I made this floral arrangement as a surprise for the mom to be. She loved it!

These are the cupcakes that the mom and dad to be took a bite of and inside was the color blue. Which means they have a baby boy coming in the spring! :)

A lot of pictures indeed. The parents to be requested that everyone coming to the party either had to wear blue or pink whether you thought it was going to be a girl or boy. For some reason I thought for sure they were having a girl so I was sporting a hot pink cardigan. But I was so wrong.

Have a fantastic Saturday evening everybody!

More New Things

Yes, this weekend has been a lot about making Christmas things. But I really love to do it so it's been nothing but fun. I finished up one more pillow. I really love how it turned out so I'm excited to show it to you. I'm also continuing to make those felt hearts and I have also made little "bags" for them from some scrap fabric and it turned out great. So here it is:

New Things

I've got some new things cooking in the craft department. One new pillow and a bunch of little felt hearts that you can decorate Christmas gifts with, hang in the Christmas tree or do whatever you'd like with.

the text on the pillow is made from French knots. It looks a little funny when taking a picture of it because the knots kind of look like they are uneven. It looks better in real life I think. I hope at least.

Hope you are doing well today! It's now only about a month left until the Swedish Christmas Fair! Yikes!

Hair Clips and Friday Night Lights

Sorry, sorry! I can't believe it's been more than a week since I posted something. I'm just SO busy.. Or why lie? Me and my hubby is addicted to this TV show and after 1 and 1/2 week we have now seen season 1, 2, 3 and last night we started the 4th. It's kind of sad how many hours we've spend in front of the TV. But we both agree that it's a good addiction to have because the show is freakin' amazing!  It's called Friday Night Lights and it's about a small town Texas football team and what goes on around it. I'm not a huge fan of American football but the show is definitely not ALL about the football and it sucks you in and it makes you breath, think and sleep Friday Night Lights. Truth be told, I also have a teenage crush on one of the characters. It's quite silly actually but I guarantee you that if you start watching it you WILL have a full teenage crush on Mr Tim Riggins. Guaranteed.
Anyways, I'm sure that is of no interest to you. So, I have also been a little busy in the crafting department. I'm making these Dala Horse hair clips and yesterday I brought one to try it out on the little girl I babysit and I thought I show you the pitures:

I also finished up another pillow last night (see, it's not all TV ) and I'll take a picture of it and I will show it to you.

Have a great day!
