Yesterday was a busy day. I went to the fabric store right when they opened their doors and then I worked on making my old lampshade a little fancier. Then I had to take a break and go to work a few hours and then went right back to finish up my lampshade. After that we went to the garden and watered our plants. The lettuce is growing! So excited!
Today I'm off to work and then if I have the energy I might meet my friends for lunch.

| I got the idea from another blog I'm reading. I used burlap and first covered the lampshade with the fabric then I cut strips of fabric and hot glued it in a ruffle kind of way. |
